THE PLAN OF GOD FOR HIS PEOPLE

      "Years are very fast. Almost 15 years already we have been in the ministry and many things have changed. But I believe that as the children of God, God destined us for the best. I receieved a message from my friend says, "The best is yet to come." This is the plan of our Heavenly father.
      And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over. And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host; And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore. And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
Joshua 3:1-5
      God wanted Israel to live in a prosperous land the land of Canaan. This is the plan of God for Israel and also for us, to live in a prosperous life. But if we will look carefully we have our part. What is our part? It is to live in obedience to his words.
    Paul understood it, he wrote;
      1 Tim 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things,having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

1 - Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
      Sanctify Greek - qadash, kaw-dash'; consecrate, dedicate, being Holy, being purified,       Godly living. Godly living means, living in obedience according to the will of God.
2 - Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
      It means, God's wonders and blessings are conditional.
3 - Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
      It means, God's wonders and blessings are received by the obedients, if they are not       sanctified means no wonders.
4 - Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
       It means only God can make or give blessings to us, not by our own ability or strenght.       We are nothing without God.
      Sanctified life does'nt mean we are already perfect. It means a life being forgiven or washed.
      1 Cor 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
      God always has a people at all times.
      Before Christ - The Israelites:
      After Christ - The Church, the church is the people who are born again in the Spirit.

      God is still working today with signs, miracle and wonders. He will work for us if we obey him.
